King set for Swedish Titan

Professor David King will be making a pre British Open visit to conduct Swedish champion, Windcorp Brass.

King

Professor David King will be making a musical visit to reigning Swedish champion Windcorp Brass in August.

Intense

The weekend visit will include three days of intense rehearsals, as well as a masterclass and concert on Sunday afternoon, and comes as a result of the warm welcome afforded to Windcorp’s Chairman and resident conductor, Andreas Kratz who spent a week with David King as he prepared Brighouse & Rastrick for the 2009 British Open.

Mentor

The Australian provided Andreas with invaluable mentoring during his stay and the return visit is something of a reciprocal thank you.

Titan

Andreas will conduct the first half of the Sunday concert where Professor King will appear as soloist, before he takes the baton to lead the band in the second half, the highlight of which will be a performance of Hermann Pallhuber's 'Titan’s Progress'.
