As previously reported on 4BR, Potters Bar Band has become an increasing familiar fixture on the television and radio over the past few weeks thanks to teaming up with Mo Park to record their own version of the unofficial England World Cup song.

Now the band is now in the final stage of the selection process to become the official England football team anthem for the 2010 World Cup on Talksport radio.

Only brass band

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "We are the only brass band in there. If we win we will be the official World Cup song on Talksport. Please help to promote this brass band push for fame by encouraging your many readers to vote for us."
