Lofthouse 2000 Band recently held a special 'Open Day' and managed to attract a new clutch of players ion the process.
The morning event was a great success with over 20 new members of all ages joining the ranks.

Some of its newest recruits had never played before, some were already having lessons, and some just obviously had 'the gift'.
A band aspokesperson told 4BR: "It was a wonderful success. To get 20 new players is brilliant. We'll be doing this again for certain."
