Baritone star, Carole Crompton, has signed for Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band on solo baritone.

Desicision

Carole, who’s playing career has included positions with Desford, Fodens, Fairey and Sellars, made the decision to sign for Carlton Main after a two year spell with Hepworth (Cookson Homes) Band.

Carole told 4BR: "I'm really excited at the prospect of playing for this great band, and when invited to join, it was a decision I felt drawn to accept. The band has many high profile competitions this year and I'm particularly looking forward to the 'Masters' as it features one of my all time favourite test pieces, ‘Epic Symphony’ of which I have fond memories."
