Antoine Beaussant, President of Buffet Crampon Group has informed 4BR that the company under its Besson brand has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the European Brass Band Association for 2011 and 2012.

Strong values

He exclusively told 4BR: "Since the Besson brand entered the Buffet Crampon Group, the relationship with EBBA have been constant and very dynamic. Besson has always been a strong supporter of the brass band movement in Europe and the European Championships in particular, as we believe it to be a major event that enhances the strong values of the brass spirit."

National encouragement

It was also confirmed that Besson will also encourage national associations in helping the winner of each country's qualification process to come to the European contest.

Antoine Beaussant added: "As well EBBA, the national federations are supported by the Besson team and know that the Buffet Crampon Group is behind them."

Boosted

Besson has taken the decision boosted by the reception its latest range of instruments has received throughout Europe, and that the three finalists at the European Soloist Competition in Linz all played on Besson instruments.

"It proves that the very best players in Europe play the very best instruments," he added.
