The Wilsden Band recently took the step of reaching out to a larger audience by playing a concert at a new venue.

Success

Their annual Spring Concert was transferred from its traditional home in Wilsden Village Hall to the larger nearby Bingley Arts Centre Theatre, due to demand, and the decision to move the concert proved to be a great success.

Highlights

Highlights of the evening included euphonium soloist Carole Paley's performance of 'Softly as I Leave You', and solo trombone player Matthew Renshaw's rendition of 'The Wind Beneath My Wings'.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Hansen wooed the audience with her beautiful singing in either half, accompanied on the piano by her father, Andy.
