Results: 55th Cornish BB Championship

The 55th Cornish Championships took place on the 17th April, with wins for St Dennis, Gweek, St Keverne Juniors, St Stythians and Camborne Juniors

The Cornwall Brass Band Association held its 55th Championships on Saturday 17th April at Tremough Campus, Penryn, where there was a fine turn out of bands, headed by St Dennis taking the top section prizes.

Result: 2026 British Open Championship

September 12 • Foden's (Russell Gray) have won the 172nd British Open at Symphony Hall with Philip Sparke's Music of the Spheres, ahead of Brass Band Willebroek (Frans Violet) in second and Brighouse & Rastrick (Prof. David King) in third.

Tintwistle Band

September 12 • We are looking for a repiano cornet player to help complete the team.. We are a second section band and rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, performing a variety of concerts all year round.
