After the disappointment of having to cancel the 24th Pogson Bray Trust Contest due to lack of entries this year, the members of the organisation trust held an extraordinary meeting in order to discuss its future.

Debate

Following lengthy debate it was agreed that all local bands would be sent a survey/opinion form giving them options for the type of contest, venue they would require to enable them to participate in future events.

Open entertainment

It was also decided that the 2011 Pogson Bray contest would be an 'Open Entertainment' event in October (rather than the present March/April) unless there are any significant points raised from the survey.
