The annual Spring Festival hosted by Enfield Citadel Band took place this year in the historic Waltham Abbey Church, Waltham Abbey, Hertfordshire on the weekend.
Guest soloist, starring alongside Enfield Citadel Band under bandmaster Jonathan Corry, was young jazz trumpeter Andrew Lofthouse.

A former student at the RNCM, Andrew is making a name for himself in the commercial circuit having played in such groups as the Matthew Herbert big band, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Halle Rock and during an exchange year in Norway kept his banding pedigree playing with the Eikanger-Bjorsvik band.

Andrews contributions included 'Concert Etude', 'Concerto de Aranjuez' and 'So Glad', whilst Enfield performed 'Barber of Seville', 'Call of the Righteous', 'Victory for Me' and 'Shine as the Light'.
Andrew recently moved to London for work and has recently been accepted for basic training in the RAF where he will work as a musician.
