The Bolton Hoover Band is celebrating one of the best seasons in it's recent history under the direction of MD Trevor Halliwell.

Take five

The band has figured in the prizes at the last five contests, culminating with a win at the Wilkinsons St. Helens contest and gaining a well deserved second place at the North West Area contest at Blackpool in March.

Due to these succeses the band have now been promoted to the Second Section for 2011 at a local level.

New move

Meanwhile later this month they are moving into their new bandroom premises in Bolton where they are now working on a new CD for release in the Summer.
