Berryman to take Hatfield

John Berryman has agreed to conduct Powerfuel Hatfield at the Yorkshire Regional Championships this weekend.

Berryman

4BR has been informed that Virtuosi GUS MD John Berryman has agreed conduct Powerfuel Hatfield at the forthcoming Yorkshire Regional Championships on Sunday.

News

John has stepped in following the news that his friend Graham O’Connor was unable to conduct the band due to his ongoing ill health. Although Graham had tried to cope with the demanding rehearsal schedule, it became increasingly apparent that he would not be able to conduct the band at the contest.

It says a great deal about John as a man that he had no hesitation in agreeing to helpGraham O'Connor

Grateful

Graham told 4BR: "I am so grateful to both John and the Virtuosi GUS Band for being able to do this at such short notice. It says a great deal about John as a man that he had no hesitation in agreeing to help, despite the fact that it would mean a huge increase in his workload over the next few days."

Graham added: "I can’t thank him enough and he can be assured that everyone at Hatfield will give him 100% commitment as well as keeping their fingers crossed that he can also qualify for the finals with GUS."
