Kingdom's Night of Brass

Kingdom Brass to host test piece night of music ahead of Scottish Championships.

Kingdom Brass are to host a 'Night of Brass' in partnership with the Fife Charities Band Association on Saturday, March 6th.

Five bands will perform their test pieces for the Scottish Championships the following weekend.

Dysart Colliery, St. David’s Brass, Tullis Russell, Lochgelly and Kingdom Brass will take part on the night, performing their respective works.

Cornet star

Kingdom Brass Youth Band will also provide musical entertainment as part of a workshop with cornet star Raf Van Looveren.

Free entry

The event is being held in the Co-op Hall, Cowdenbeath, and entry is free. Doors open from 5.30pm.

A bar will be running all evening, and everyone is welcome to attend what has become a well-established social event in the Scottish banding calendar.
