Wales set for Brass Festival

4BR speaks to Tom Davoren as he announces landmark Welsh New Brass Festival.

4BR talks exclusively to Welsh composer and conductor Tom Davoren about his ambitious plans for the Cardiff New Brass Festival, which he hopes will grow into a Welsh version of the RNCM Festival of Brass.

Landmark

The event, which will take place on 23rd of April at Cardiff University Concert Hall, is set to host a landmark festival for brass in Wales.

Tom Davoren talks about his inspirations behind creating the festival, the exciting compositional talent that will be featured, the bands to perform and the scope of what he hopes will be a landmark event that will grow to rival the RNCM Festival of Brass in Manchester.
