Elland recruit new faces

Elland Silver recruit new faces to the ranks ahead of Bradford challenge.

 

In preparation for Ellan Silver's bid in the Third Section of the Yorkshire Area Championships under James Shepherd, the band has signed a number of new recruits.

Youth

Thomas Fox, Gerry Simpson, Stuart Perrin and Jeffery Bailey come in on te cornet section from the Elland Youth Band, whilst Mick Silson and James Wilkinson come onto the solo cornet bench.

Lauren Brundell joins on 2nd baritone, Jonathon Smith takes the 2nd euphonium seat, Kevin Johnson comes in on 2nd trombone and Sophie Greig and Mathew Payne join on percussion from the Youth set up.

Meanwhile, Elland will also be holding its 21st Annual Slow Melody & Quartet comtest on Sunday May 9th4BR
