Death of Ray Bowes

The death has been reported of Lieut. Colonel Ray Bowes.

4BR has been informed of the death of Lieut. Colonel Ray Bowes.

Colonel Bowes was admitted to hospital last Thursday after sustaining a fall but following complications, died peacefully Saturday evening at 7.00pm.

Ray Bowes was a member of the International Staff Band for 42 years, serving the late Colonel Bernard Adams as Deputy Bandmaster, then latterly as Bandmaster of the band he loved so much.

Thoughts and prayers go out to his two sons Howard and David and their much loved family.

There are no funeral arrangements as yet announced.
