Corry help for Welwyn

Jonathan Corry has be lending a helping baton to the Welwyn Garden City Band.

Welwyn Garden City Band has announced that Jonathan Corry, the Bandmaster of Enfield Citadel SA Band, will be working with the band in the lead up to the London & Southern Counties Area Contest.

Jonathan, a product of SA banding, is brass co-ordinator for Brent Music Service.

Welwyn Garden City Chairman, Steve Dias, told 4BR: "We are delighted that Jonathan has agreed to work with the band. His enthusiasm and expertise were evident from the first rehearsal and we look forward to a long and fruitful musical partnership. Jonathan is already acquainted with the Band’s Professional Advisor, Rod Franks, and hopes to be able to work with Rod in progressing the band’s development in 2010."
