4BR has been informed that due to the terrible weather of late, which has severley affected band's preperations for the RNCM Festival of Brass, two pieces have had to be dropped from the published programmes of Foden's and Leyland.
Changes
For Foden's contribution, 'In Memoriam RK' by Elgar Howarth replaces 'Sea Pictures' by Philip Sparke, whilst Leyland has been forced to drop 'Seascapes' by Ray Steadman Allen, replacing it with 'Lyonesse' by Simon Dobson.
Artistic Director Paul Hindmarsh, told 4BR: "Leyland already has 'Seascapes' pencilled in for performance at the 2011 Festival and I am hoping that we will also have 'Sea Pictures' next time too."
