Poulton-le-Fylde Band recently made its debut at the historic 1000 seat capacity Blackpool Grand Theatre, widely regarded as one of the prettiest in Britain.

Only two weeks prior to the event, and a mere stones throw away, Blackpool had hosted the 2009 Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen.

Heavy snow

Despite the event being very difficult to attend due to heavy snow, the band's Musical Director, Gareth Westwood and Father Geoffrey Bottoms led the audience in festive carol singing.

Many of the band members travelled some considerable distance in treacherous conditions in order to attend the event.
