Wakefield Metropolitan Band brought a successful 2009 to a rousing conclusion with two well supported events in December.

Christmas Brass

The annual 'Christmas Brass' concert was enjoyed by a full house where the audience were entertained with a varied programme, which included four items from guest vocalist Rachel Crisp.

Cathedral

The band and MD Norman Law, were delighted to be invited to record the BBC Radio Leeds Christmas Carol service, in Wakefield Cathedral.

The band played four individual items as well as accompanying the congregation and choirs for two of the carols.
