Trombone soloist Stephen Sykes performed as guest soloist with conductor Martin Yates and the BBC Concert Orchestra live on last Friday evening's (27th November) 'Friday Night is Music Night'.
Opportunity
The world's longest-running live music programme on radio gathers a huge weekly following, and Stephen was delighted to have been given the opportunity to perform to such a wide audience.
Solos
His solo performance included Moules arrangement of 'Why Did I choose You', the third movement from Rota’s 'Trombone Concerto' and an arrangement originally made for Gordon Campbell of ‘Stardust’.
