Martin Hall, thee new Vice Chancellor of Salford University has shown his support for all things brass after his attendence at an Adelphi Brass Band concert last week.

His personal blog, which came out on Monday 16th provides an interesting academic glimpse into the perception of the banding movement from outside of the movement, and shows that for some academics, brass bands can still make a very positive impact.
