Wilsden on the beat

The Wilsden Band has welcomed another neew recruit to the ranks.

Following their well established policy of never turning away any potential player, Wilsden Band may soon have to provide extra seating it seems.

Signing

The latest signing is Billy Jeavons, a former cornet player coming out of 'retirement', and providing a very welcome addition to the back row.

On the beat

Band spokesperson Colin Holt told 4BR: "Billy now joins another member of the local constabulary in the band, so the ensemble should be used to keeping to the beat."
