Cowes Concert Band on the Isle of Wight has attracted 16 year olds Harrison Marsh and David Medland on Eb bass and cornet to the ranks.

Duo

Harrison is a member of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain, having been principal Eb bass for the National Children's Brass Band of GB for the past two years. He also spent several years with youth bands within the Isle of Wight Music Centre.

David plays with Vectis Brass has also progressed through the IW Music Centre. He has recently played with the IW Symphony Orchestra.

David and Harrison are both very talented individuals and I hope they enjoy their time with the bandMD, Andy Norman

Cowes Concert Band Musical Director Andy Norman said he was delighted the young duo had chosen to join: "David and Harrison are both very talented individuals and I hope they enjoy their time with the band. They have joined just in time for our busy programme of Christmas concerts across the Island."
