The Usk Youth Band have recently returned from a very successful trip during half term to its twin town of Graben Neudorf in Germany.
A party of 65 players and supporters made the trip and the band gave full house concerts in Karlsruhe and Graben Neudorf.
Highlight
The highlight of the trip was playing in the fabulous Heidelberg Castle, set high on the side of a hill.
Jeff Jones, the Bands conductor told 4BR: "It was an honour to conduct the band out there. The young players were a credit, not only to the town of Usk, but a credit to Wales. The adults were not bad either, as the kids kept them in check!"
