Dodworth Colliery MW Band has announced major changes to their current line up.

Departing

Departing from the band are family members Bob and Wendy Woffinden from the horn section and Ian Woffinden from Eb Bass along with Mary Golder on trombone.

A spokesperson for the band told 4BR: "We would like to thank them for their valuable time and commitment given to us and wish them well with their move."

Positive note

On a positive note, Dodworth has announced several new appointments.

Joining the ranks are James Hunter on solo trombone, Geoff Benson on principal Eb tuba, whilst returning to the band on solo horn is Paul Wainwright. The band also welcome Adam Holder on cornet.
