Longridge Band has announced that they are to lose the services of principal cornet player David Booth, who is to take up a job in Dubai.

Meanwhile, solo trombonist of over 6 years standing, Rebecca (Becky) Stead is also leaving the band for private reasons.

Fred Little of the band told 4BR: "We would be delighted to see both player return in the future. They have both given sterling service to Longridge."
