Cutt helps Windcorp challenge

Garry Cutt and Lucy Murphy have been helping Windcorp Band in their bid to regain Swedish National title.

The Windcorp Band in Sweden recently started off its contest preperation with an intensive rehearsal weekend under the direction of Garry Cutt.

The Foden’s MD has visited the band before, developing a good working relationship that resulted in the combination winning the Grenland International Brass Band Festival last year.

This time the main focus is to try and regain the Swedish National title, lost to Gothenburg in last November4BR

Garry's partner Lucy Murphy from the Fairey Band also made the trip to help on flugel horn.

The set test piece at the Swedish National will be 'Gothic Dances' by Alan Fernie, who will be present at the championships.
