The Durham University Department of Music guest lecture series will see Professor's Trevor Herbert and Philip Wilby give talks later this month.

Both will take place in the Concert Room, Palace Green (just by the cathedral) and is open to all band enthusiasts.

Lectures

Trevor Herbert’s lecture will be on Tuesday 20th October at 4.15 pm, and is entitled, 'Studying Brass Instruments: Themes, Methods and Problems', whilst and Philip Wilby’s lecture will be on Tuesday 27th October also at 4.15 pm and is entitled, 'Self Composed: Modernism from the Sidelines.'
