Hatherleigh opt for Hayward

Hatherleigh Silver book David Hayward for forthcoming Torquay contest.

Hatherleigh Silver Band has announced that David Hayward will be leading them to the SWBBA Contest at Torquay in November.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "David now spends his banding life freelance conducting various bands in both the West Country and his native Wales and brings a wealth of experience with him to Hatherleigh.

They added: "We are looking forward to working hard with David over the coming months and to the exciting future for the band that his appointment has made."
