Delight for Michelle Lane as she takes the soloist prize in the second section.
4BR has spoken to Michelle Lane, the principal cornet player of Oldham (Lees) Band after she was awarded the Best Instrumentalist prize in the Second Section in Harrogate today.
Her delight was mixed with a touch of disappointment however as Oldham were just squeezed out of the top spot by rivals City of Cariff.
