The date for the British Open next year will be one week earlier than usual – on the 4th of September.

The announcement was made in the British Open programme last weekend and has been made in consultation with the Great Northern Brass Arts Festival organizer Philip Biggs, to ensure that there will be no conflict in dates between both events.
