The Langley Band has been providing assistance to the Brisbane Excelsior Band this week during their final preparations for the forthcoming British Open.

The Australians have been rehearsing at Langley’s bandroom in the heart of the Black Country and on Wednesday the two bands came together for a band social night.

Opportunity

The event afforded the opportunity to catch up with a few old friends and make a whole lot of new ones. Earlier in the day Brisbane players were joined by Langley representatives at a reception given by the mayor of Sandwell Cllr Geoff Lewis.
