The Bolsover Brass Band Entertainment Contest will be held at the Post Mill Centre, South Normanton on 4th October and will commence at 9.00 am with the Un-Registered Section.
A spokesperson told 4BR: "The contest has been such a huge success this year that entries were closed three weeks early."

The contest is expected to finish at approximately 9.30pm. The venue has good catering and bar facilities which are available throughout the day.
Entry to non-participants is £3 by programme available on the door.

The adjudicator for this year’s event is Ian Porthouse.
