New music
Meanwhile, the band will have a new piece of music to commemorate their bi-centenary.
Composer Rob Collinson has written a short work depicting the local Stalybridge area and the piece will be included in a new CD the band will be making later in the year.
Rob recently returned from America where he was the guest of The Sheldon Theatre Band based in Red Wing, Minnesota, having been commissioned to compose a new work for that band.
