Ambitious
He added: "They are both very ambitious and experienced conductors with great results. Gary has won the Championship Section in the National Championships for Windbands three times in the last four years with the Bergen Symphonic Band. Selmer's achievements in recent years with Stavanger and Kirkintilloch speaks for itself, and in 2007 he led Krohnengen to a runner up spot in the Norwegian Nationals."
Thanks
Fotland also added: "I would like to thank our principal conductor Karl Ole Midtbø for the work he has done with the band since 2003. When he now takes a break from Krohnengen, he has been the band's conductor for six years, and has done a tremendous job. We are looking forward to working with him again in the future."
