Artemis Brass, a newly formed professional brass quintet, have recently recorded for BBC’s 'Songs of Praise' in Belfast’s Sinclair Seamen’s Presbyterian Church, which will be broadcast on Sunday 28 June on BBC 1.
Set up
Artemis Brass was set up by french horn player Jacqueline McCarthy after returning to live in Northern Ireland after studying in London.

She told 4BR: "The sound of a great brass group can really thrill people, and we’ve put together a group of fabulous players who all have made their mark as brass musicians throughout the UK and further afield."
The group consists of Simon Menin, a former member of Brass Band Berner Oberland and Faireys, Jonathan Corry, Bandmaster of Enfield Citadel Band, Jacqui Mc Carthy who is a freelance horn player in Ireland, Nathan Power a busy freelance trombonist and tuba student Richard McCann.
