The Brass Bands Archive shines a light on the history of brass banding and houses many fascinating artifacts from our musical past. This special Volunteer Day will offer the first look at a new exhibition on the history of brass bands, exclusive tours of the archive’s strong room and a look up-close at the archive’s historic photo collection. All you’ll need to do in return is see if you can help identify any of the bands featured within the photographs! Attendance is free but booking ahead is required — visit brassbandsarchive.com.
