Luc Geraats captured every nuance of Vaughan Williams engaging concerto. From the spirit of the outer movements to the glorious singing cantabile of the romance he found the central character of the music.

Martin Ellerby — Concerto for Baritone

Martin Ellerby's Concerto is such a sparkling effervescent piece but with glorious lyrical heart and Felix Geroldinger gave it his all in his playing. It was played with innate musicality but we did struggle a little at times to hear him over the ensemble.

Having already made a name for himself as a bass trombonist, Lionel Fumeaux has phenomenal technique and range and this was all present in this performance...and what a performance.
