1st Prize: £1500 plus The Boosey & Hawkes European Trophy. The band also received the Champion Band of Europe Plaque and an engraved souvenir goblet
2nd Prize: £1250 plus The Besson Salver
3rd Prize: £1000 plus The Boosey & Hawkes European Cup
4th Prize: £750 plus The North Midlands Area Committee Trophy
5th Prize: £500 plus the North Midlands Area Associations Shield

Each competing band received a souvenir plaque

Tintwistle Band

June 9 • Tintwistle Band are looking for a 2nd horn player to help complete the team. . We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm under the baton of our MD Jim Henson, at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.
