National champions reach for the Sky
29-Jul-2012Brighouse feature on Sky Arts Channel at Cambridge Folk Festival
National Champions, Brighouse & Rastrick wasn't the only band from Yorkshire to feature in the media spotlight this weekend.
The Unthanks
Less than 24 hours after Grimethorpe Colliery's Olympic Opening Ceremony appearance, Brighouse under the baton of conducter Michael Goulding, appeared on the Sky Arts Channel at the Cambridge Folk Festival with The Unthanks.
Following a live interview with Becky and Rachel Unthank, where the band was referred to as 'Lush’, highlights were shown of their performance earlier in the day accompanying the folk group in 'Gan to the Kye'.
