A musical career in The Corps of Army Music can now come with the added bonus of a welcoming handshake worth £10,000.
Golden Hello
The 'Golden Hello' has become available from 1st July, and is targeted at the increasing number of musicians — including those who want to join one of the three professional brass bands within the British Army — who seek an exciting, fulfilling musical career.
Fantastic opportunity
A spokesperson told 4BR: "This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a professional career with a taxable reward of up to £10,000.
More and more people are contacting the Corps of Army Music — and especially our three professional brass bands — to find out more about a musical opportunity that offers so much."
The 'Golden Hello' is open to British and Commonwealth applicants and is assessed at audition dependent on vacancies for your instrument.
'Hello' levels are:
£10,000 (Advanced Level)
Candidate has to perform at ATCL Level or above
£4,000 (Standard Level)
Candidate has performed at the level to pass the CAMUS audition
The Golden Hello is taxable and only payable upon completion of all mandated training.
