4BR has been informed that the 2013 Norwegian National Championships will be broadcast live on’-line from Bergen this weekend.
Overseas
The Norwegian Band Federation (NMF) will be broadcasting on-line all divisions of the Championship from the Grieghallen in Bergen, with the Elite Division available for overseas viewers to enjoy on the Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

Head of Communications, Stig Ryland told 4BR: "Since 2008 NMF has broadcast the championship live on the internet. To be able to watch the championship and the gala concert featuring the Cory Band you will need to register with TV 2 Sumo (TV 2 Norway’s web-tv service) and pay a minimum subscription of NOK 59,- (£7/€8).
This will give you access to the live streaming from all sections and one week’s access to all the performances on demand."
Simple process
As TV 2 Sumo is aimed primarily at domestic viewers the registration process is only available in Norwegian, but should be simple enough to follow:

Click on 'FÅ TILGANG' in the top right corner to register. When registering, you need to choose the SUMO PLUSS product, and then UKE (weekly subscription). For payment method, choose KREDITTKORT (credit card).

Friday 8th February:
10.30am — 2.10pm: 5th Division
10.30am — 3.30pm: 2nd Division
4.00pm — 9.40pm: 3rd Division
4.30pm — 9.50pm: Elite Division (test piece)
Saturday 9th February:
9.00pm — 2.10pm: 1st Division
11.00am — 4.40pm: 4th Division
2.45pm — 7.40pm: Elite Division (own choice)
8.45pm — 10.30pm: Gala concert with the Cory Band and awards ceremony

Please note:
TV 2 Sumo is a running subscription and will run until you cancel it.
You can stop your subscription as soon as you have registered and still have access for the period of time you have paid for (one week).
To stop your subscription, go to ‘Min Sumo’ in the top right corner of the screen, choose ‘Mine abonnement og kjøp’ and click ‘Stopp’ next to your subscription.
