Advert: Cory announce Eisteddod programme

World champion announces Welsh Eisteddfod programme.

Cory

The Cory Band has announced the programme it will perform at Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre on Thursday 24th June, as they kick start the final preparations for the National Eisteddfod of Wales in July.

Fund raising

The National Eisteddfod will take place in Ebbw Vale for the first time in over 50 years next month, and Cory has offered its support for the event by playing at a fund raising concert in the town this week.

Crowd pleasing

Conducted by Dr Robert Childs the band will perform its crowd pleasing concert repertoire — with something for everyone in the shape of music from Paul Lovatt-Cooper to Harry James, John Ireland and Suppe.

The concert will herald the start of final preparations for the Eisteddfod in the town, and brass band lovers will be encouraged by the amount of television coverage the event provides world wide.
