GT rev up for Area challenge

GT Group Band Peterlee gears up for Area with new signings.

The GT Group Band Peterlee is gearing up for its first appearance in the top section in the North of England with some new signings.

Progress

Since the arrival of Steve Malcolm as MD in 2007 the band has continued to progress, culminating in being crowned North of England First Section champion in 2009, and subsequently gaining promotion to the Championship Section for the first time in their 35 year history.

The band has been boosted by the signing of Paul Liddle on 2nd baritone, Peter Welch on soprano and Matt Moore on percussion.
