The East Anglian Brass Band Association recently held its annual Solo & Quartet Contest at Blackfriar's Hall in Norwich.

There was a fine turn out of playing talent with thanks going to adjudicator, Michael Fowles and the official accompanist, Lisa Cheadle, for accompanying over 20 soloists for the event.

Medway Band

June 16 • Resident MD required to work with our Professional MD Nigel Taken. Required to take rehearsals fortnightly and help prepare the band for contests and concerts. Looking for someone prepared to work to the criteria set by the Professional Conductor.


Shirley Band

June 15 • Shirley Band require a Tenor Trombone and Bass Trombone to join our friendly and hardworking 1st section band. We rehearse Wednesday and Friday evenings in Hockley Heath, 5 minutes from Junction 4 of the M42, with easy access from across the Midlands.


Prospect Brass - Skelmanthorpe

June 15 • Prospect Brass require a trombone (position negotiable) to join our team. We have a sensible yet exciting schedule of contests & concerts for the year ahead. We rehearse in our very own purpose built bandroom mon/fri 8-9.30pm
