  There is still plenty of time to get your entry in for the 2017 Wychavon Festival of Brass.

The Wychavon Festival of Brass has announced that entries to this year's contest, which takes place on Saturday 28th October, are currently 30% up on 2016.

Contest Secretary, Kevin Whitaker told 4BR: "This is already great news for the event and shows the continued popularity of a contest that holds significant prestige, a very generous prize fund and had the important link to the British Open Spring Festival."

He added: "The closing date for entries is Friday 8th September, so please make sure you get in touch so that you can guarantee your place in the starting line-ups."
