This highly acclaimed trombone trio is based in Japan. The group was formed in 2013 by Sawako Takeuchi(Pacific Philharmonia Tokyo), Tetsuro Okamura (The College Opera House Orchestra) and Tetsuya Ishii (Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra).
The group is committed to raising the profile of the trombone trio by demonstrating its remarkable versatility. Through commissioning new works and skillful arrangements including Italian Concerto, The Magic Flute, ����������The Nuts Cracker, Dragon Quest Suit and so on. As well as expanding not only the repertoire but the boundaries of trombone trio, Sun Bones Trombone Trio publishing their commissioned works and arrangements.
All the trio members play on Antoine Courtois trombones.
