2nd European Conductors
Competition
The EBBC 2003 in Bergen also includes the 2nd European
Conductors Competition. The competitions for the Preliminary round
commence on 27th April 2003. The Semi Finals are on 29th April 2003
and the Grand Final will be held 1st May 2003 in the Peer Gynt Hall,
Bergen.
The object of the Finals are to find the most promising European
Brass Band conductors. The winners prize is 3000 EUR and the opportunity
to appear as guest conductor with well-known bands in Europe! Applicants
must have been born on or after January 1st 1968.
