Eccleston top five gain awards
30-Apr-2012Five highly committed and talented performers claimed the top awards at Eccleston's presentation evening.
The Eccleston Band recently made their annual presentations to members of the band in recognition of their work and contribution to the band’s on-going success.
MD choices
Musical Director Danny Brooks chose trombone player Nick Brocklehurst as the ‘Most Improved Junior Player’, whilst the ‘Junior Player of the Year’ award went to 16 year old cornet player Rachel Bromiley.
The ‘Most Improved Player’ award was won by baritone player Anne Bromiley who only recently moved onto the instrument after playing cornet, whilst the ‘Bandsperson of the Year’ title went to Bb tuba player Andrew Marsden.
‘The Chairman’s Award’ went to Eb tuba Michael Harrison for his outstanding commitment and loyalty to the band.
