Griffiths set to lead Jayess

Jayess Newbiggin Band has a new MD in Andrew Griffiths.

Jayess Newbiggin Band has appointed local lad Andrew Griffiths as their new Musical Director.

Award

A native of the area, Andrew is a graduate of the University of Salford where he won the prestigious Dr Roy Newsome Conducting Award.

Euphonium

During his time in Manchester, Andrew was principal euphonium of the Blackley and Eccles Borough Bands.
